Janmashtami Walk & Hop - Pune

We'll walk together through core Pune, stopping at some of the city's most famous Dahi Handi locations to watch the human pyramid attempts, soak in the dhol-tasha energy, and experience the festival atmosphere as a group. It's part sightseeing, part socialising.

You can absolutely come alone — in fact, most of our attendees do! This event is designed for solo participants to meet new people and enjoy the festival together. No plus-one required.

Since we're hopping between multiple Dahi Handi spots across core Pune, expect a fair amount of walking over the 4 hours. Comfortable shoes are a must. The pace will be relaxed, so it's manageable for most fitness levels.

No, the ticket covers your spot in the group and the walk itself. Food, drinks, and any personal expenses during the event are to be covered by participants individually. There will be plenty of street food options along the way if you'd like to try some!

Yes. Safety is a priority for us — the event follows StrangerMingle's Zero Tolerance Policy for harassment or misbehaviour of any kind, and the walk stays in a group throughout, in a busy, well-populated part of the city.
